Off season is marked by hard work. This is what the best bodybuilders in the world look like six months before Mr. Olympia!

There are exactly 166 days left until the start of the prestigious Mr. Olympia 2021 competition, but that does not mean that the world’s leading bodybuilders can now afford to train lighter. The competition is becoming more and more demanding, which is best proved by the photos recently posted on social media by prominent bodybuilders who will want to take the primacy away from Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay in October. Although they are theoretically still in the off-season, their physiques are looking downright phenomenal!

Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay

We start with the current Mr. Olympia champion, who shortly after winning the title announced that he intends to expand his impressive musculature. The latest photos, which “Big Ramy” posts on Instagram, show that he has not lost his greatest assets (powerful arms and legs, very wide but proportional shoulder girdle) and still stands out for his huge size (178 cm tall, about 140 kg in weight). The Egyptian is working hard under the watchful eye of Chad Nicholls, who ensures that his charge will be… even bigger! “No one can compare to him when he is big and well sculpted” – roelly Winklaar, 2018 Mr. Olympia bronze medalist, adds.

Brandon Curry

The 2019 Mr. Olympia isn’t going to stop at just one triumph at the iconic event and is now focusing primarily on improving his upper body muscles. Brandon Curry believes that a chest lift will help him reclaim his title as the world’s best bodybuilder. Photographs from the past weeks confirm the progression in this aspect.

Phil Heath

One of the most accomplished bodybuilders in history (7 Mr. Olympia titles and gold at the 2013 Arnold Classic Europe) is still feeling the hunger to compete, although this time he is not listed as one of the close favorites to win. the 41-year-old Phil Heath combines preparation for the competition with running his own business (Phil Heath Labs), which by no means means means that he spends less time training. The would-be NBA basketball player exercises his signature biceps and triceps to exhaustion.

Hadi Choopan

The ambitious Iranian may be the black horse of October’s event in Orlando. Although his physique and dimensions (169 cm tall, just over 100 kg in weight) also fit the 212 Division, it is hard not to notice the regular progress Hadi Choopan is making. Recently, the 33-year-old has significantly developed his arms and shoulders, which he has already managed to boast about on the internet. “This year I’m coming to the United States to become a champion” – boldly declared Choopan on his Instagram. However, a realistic goal for him will be to improve on the result of a year ago, when he finished the competition just off the podium.

William Bonac

Filigree size (168 cm tall, about 105 kg in weight) is also standing in the way of William Bonac finally achieving the coveted Mr. Olympia triumph. The closest he came was in 2019, when he had to recognize the superiority of Brandon Curry. However, the representative of the Netherlands does not stop in his pursuit of the biggest professional dream. Unlike many of his competitors, “The Conqueror” does most of his exercises on machines, but the results are really impressive. Monstrous neck muscles and a superbly sculpted back are his undeniable assets.
